DESCRIPTION
Controlled access barrier, in particular for public transport, public establishments and the like. Field of the Invention
The present invention aims at a controlled access barrier, in particular for public transport, public establishments and the like. State of the art
At present, a series of suitable safety devices are known for defining controlled access barriers for openings of various types, for example, in public transport means and in public establishments.
In the present case, an example of such barriers of known type is described in patent application BS2009A000098.
This patent document describes a highly optimized access and control barrier specifically designed for public transportation.
Such a barrier of known type is substantially constituted by a lathe or two opposing lathes and articulated to two support bars, previously existing in the means of transport in which the barrier is installed, so that they can rotate in a manner consistent with the direction of passage of the opening.
In more detail, such lathes are kinematically connected to motor means controlled from an electronic switchboard, which in turn is operatively connected to the electronic validator of the means of public transport.
In this way, the opening or closing of the opening can be automatically controlled based on the validation of the travel title with visible and / or acoustic signaling of the success of said validation.
Such a barrier of known type is not exempt from inconveniences, including the fact that, in case of emergency, that is, in a case where an immediate evacuation of the means of public transport is necessary or that the intervention of External personnel such as health personnel and the like, such a barrier turns out to be a real obstacle to the safekeeping of the passengers present in the means of transport.
Think, for example, of the eventuality of a road accident as a result of which a state of panic among passengers is generated. In that situation, the passengers themselves, by instinct of survival, could most likely run and push each other in the attempt to reach the exit of the means of public transport.
It is easy to understand how such a barrier, which keeps the exit opening closed even though it can be forced by pushing it, is not at all helpful, becoming an additional cause of panic, as well as a danger to the safety of the passengers.
The inadequacy of such barriers of known type is also evident in the event that passengers are able to maintain a certain rationality and order when heading towards the exit of public transport. In fact, said barriers of known type need a maneuvering space that, in such situations, is not available because of the crowding of passengers before the exit opening.
These inconveniences have been partially overcome by patent application AR2008A000024.
In such a patent document a controlled access barrier is described constituted in itself substantially by a lathe or by two opposing lathes but each articulated to a containment structure that can be associated with a support bar, previously existing in the middle. of transport in which said barrier is installed, so that they can rotate according to the direction of passage of the opening.
Advantageously, in this second barrier of known type, the containment structure defines a housing space in which, in an emergency and by appropriate means of handling, the winch is removed along a direction substantially transverse to the opening itself , clearing the opening.
Despite the fact that, in this way, the opening can be opened without obstructing the surrounding space, hypothetically occupied by passengers, said second barriers of known type have drawbacks, including the fact that, because of the peculiarities techniques that characterize them, occupy a large volume, comparable to the volume occupied by a complete seat, which makes them in any case not totally unsuitable for the security of an opening in public transport means, without considering the high manufacturing cost associated with its constructive complexity Description of the invention
The objective pursued by the present invention consists in the fact of carrying out a controlled access barrier that solves the aforementioned drawbacks and that is particularly suitable for installation in public transport means, public establishments and the like.
Within the scope of this objective, an object of the present invention is to make a controlled access barrier that, due to its particular performance characteristics, can provide the widest guarantees of reliability in any use or emergency situation.
Another object of the invention is to make a controlled access barrier in which materials readily available in the market are used and therefore are easily realized and also economically competitive if equated with safety devices of known type.
This objective, as well as these and other objects that will be more evident in the following, are achieved by means of a controlled access barrier, in particular for public transport, public establishments and the like, comprising at least one blocking body that can placed for the obstruction of an opening to be placed under control and which can be rotatably associated with at least one fixed element that laterally delimits said opening, said at least one movable locking body being around an axis of rotation that can be placed substantially in a vertical position such that it rotates along a substantially horizontal plane between a closed position, in which said at least one locking body obstructs the passage defined by said opening, and at least one opening position, in that the passage defined by said opening is released from said at least one blocking body for the controlled passage of at least one person , characterized in that it comprises means for quick release of said at least one blocking body for its gravity fall along a substantially vertical plane and substantially perpendicular to the direction of passage of said opening from said closed position to a position of emergency, in which the passage defined by said opening is released from said at least one blocking body for the immediate passage of said at least one person as a result of the immediate release of said opening by said at least one blocking body in case of emergency. Brief description of the drawings

Referring in particular to the aforementioned figures, the controlled access barrier, in particular for public transport means, public establishments and the like, indicated globally with the reference number 1, comprises at least one blocking body 2, made for example from a bar 3 coated with a rubbery material, which can be placed for the obstruction of an opening 4 to be placed under control, and which can be rotatably associated with at least one fixed element 5 that laterally delimits the opening 4 .
An example of application of the barrier 1 according to the invention, installed in a public transport means 100, in which the barrier 1 is placed in correspondence with at least one defined opening in the vicinity of the doors is shown in FIG. of access or exit of said means of public transport 100.
In this specific example, two locking bodies 2 are provided, which can be placed for the obstruction of the opening 4 to be put under control, and which can be rotatably associated with two fixed elements 5 that laterally delimit the same, as per For example, two support bars that previously existed in public transport means 100, so that they turn out to be mobile simultaneously.
Obviously, variants of the barrier 1 according to the present invention will be applicable in other embodiments, however recovering the inventive concept described below.
For example, barrier 1 according to the present invention may be used in a public establishment corresponding to at least one defined opening between two separate areas.
As regards the locking body 2, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, it is movable around a rotation axis 6 that can be placed substantially in an upright position such that it rotates along a substantially plane horizontal between a closing position, in which the blocking body 2 obstructs the passage defined by the opening 4, and at least one opening position, in which the passage defined by the opening 4 is released from the blocking body 2 for the controlled passage of at least one person 7.
In more detail, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, there is provided a container body 8, of axially symmetrical geometry, which can be fixed to the fixed element 5 and which rotatably accommodates a body around the axis of rotation 6 internal 9 articulated to the blocking body 2 around a first articulation axis 10 substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation 6 and which can be oriented parallel to the passage direction 11 of the opening 4, the blocking body 2 being placed in the position of closing.
In addition, motor means 12 are housed inside the container body 8 and kinematically connected to the internal body 9 for rotation around the axis of rotation 6 at an angle at least equal to 90 °, from the closed position to the open position. , and vice versa. In this way, the opening 4 can be opened and closed, in order, automatically.
More specifically, said motor means 12 comprise at least one electric motor 13, for example of direct current so that it can be fed directly from the electrical installation to 24 volts or 48 volts of a public transport means 100, which is kinematically connected to the body internal 9 via a belt transmission 14.
Advantageously, the electric motor 12 is of the type that can be forced with return to the initial position to allow forced rotation of the internal body 9 around the axis of rotation 6 as a result of an external thrust 15 applied to the blocking body 2 along the passage direction 11 with return of the blocking body 2 itself to the closed position after the cessation of the external thrust 15.
In this way, in the case of external thrust 15, the barrier 1 can easily be forced preventing it from becoming an insurmountable obstacle for those who wish to also pass without having authorization for passage, as shown in Figure 5. Detailed description of an embodiment of the invention
In the proposed embodiment, in order to make the barrier 1 easily installable in any type of environment conditions, the blocking body 2 can be selectively placed in two opening positions defined symmetrically with respect to the closing position.
According to the invention, quick release means 16 of the locking body 2 are provided for gravity drop along a substantially vertical plane and substantially perpendicular to the passage direction 11 of the opening 4 from the closed position to a position emergency, in which the passage defined by the opening 4 is released from the blocking body 2 for the immediate passage of at least one person 7 as a result of the immediate release of the opening 4 by the blocking body 2 in case of emergency.
In more detail, said quick release means 16 comprise a ratchet element 17 housed inside the internal body 9 and articulated in correspondence with its central position and along a second articulation axis 18 to a fixed point of solidarity in rotation with the internal body 9.
Timely, the second articulation axis 18 is parallel to the first articulation axis 10 and is positioned in the opposite part of the locking body 2 with respect to the first articulation axis 10.
Finally, the ratchet element 17 has, in correspondence with its end parts, respectively, an insert 20, which can be coupled by coupling with a complementary profile 21 defined by the end section 22 of the locking body 2 placed between the two articulation axes 10 and 18, and a pin 23 that can be coupled with actuating means 24 of the quick release means 16, housed inside the internal body 9.
In the proposed embodiment, as clearly illustrated in Figures 7 and 8, the actuation means 24 mentioned above comprise a mass 25 placed above the pin 23, made of a ferromagnetic material and which can move vertically from a position at rest, in which the mass 25 is kept away from the pin 23 by the electromagnetic action generated by an electromagnet 26 also housed inside the internal body 9, to an actuation position, in which the mass 25 is pushed by a spring pre-compressed 27 against the pin 23 for the momentary cessation of the electromagnetic action of the electromagnet 26 as a result of an emergency condition with the consequent rotation of the ratchet element 17 around the second articulation axis 18 for decoupling of the insert 20 of the complementary profile 21 .
Advantageously, the ratchet element 17 has, in correspondence with its concave face directed towards the first articulation axis 10, a first cam profile 27 suitable for sliding along the end section 22, as clearly illustrated in Figure 9, for its rotation around the second articulation axis 18 with the consequent elevation of the mass 25 in the vicinity of the rest position in such a way that it allows the electromagnetic action of the electromagnet 26, when electrically fed again, to return the mass 25 to its resting position.
With particular reference to Figures 10 to 12, also advantageously, there are provided means of restoring 29 of the blocking body 2 suitable for repositioning, in order, from the emergency position to the closed position.
In more detail, said restoration means 29 comprise at least a second cam profile 30 defined in correspondence with at least one end of a groove 31 defined in the container body 8 through and along which it protrudes and is slide lock body 2 during its movement from the closed position to the open position, and vice versa.
Thus, as a consequence of the rotation of the internal body 9 around the axis of rotation 6, starting with the locking body 2 placed in the emergency position, the latter is forced to slide on the second cam profile 30 as well as to rotate the locking body 2 around the first articulation axis 10 and move it from the emergency position to the opening position.
Timely, as previously anticipated, in order to make the barrier 1 easily installable in any type of environment with two opening positions defined symmetrically with respect to the closed position, the slot 31 extends symmetrically with respect to the locking body 2 when it is placed in the closed position and has the second cam profile 30 between its two ends in such a way that it allows the locking body 2 to be moved along the passage direction 11 both in a felt as in the other.
As a complement to the barrier 1 according to the invention, control and management means are provided, not shown, of the position of the internal body 9 with respect to the container body 8, which can be implemented for example by means of an encoder, of the external thrust 15 to define said emergency condition, for example by means of a force sensor, of the electromagnet 26 to activate the quick release means 16, and of the motor means 12 to move the locking body 2.
Timely, said control and management means are operatively connected to a validation apparatus 32 for opening the opening 4 as a result of the verification of a ticket or the like and / or other external control systems.
As a complement to barrier 1, pilots and light sneaks suitable for acoustic and visual signaling of the state of barrier 1 may be provided.
The operation of the controlled access barrier 1, in particular for public transport, public establishments and the like, is clear and evident from what has been described and how much is indicated.
In the event that such barrier 1 is connected, in the mode with the key attached, to the electrical installation of the public transport means 100 in which it has been installed, when the power is turned off, the blocking body 2 will be in its emergency position
With the restoration of the power supply, the switchboard of the control and management means of the barrier 1 will activate the restoration of the barrier 1 by feeding the electromagnet 26 and activating the motor means 12 that will impose a rotation of 90 ° to the internal body 9, with in order to bring the blocking body 2 to one of the two opening positions, followed by a 90 ° counter-rotation also of the internal body 9, in order to bring the blocking body 2 from the opening position reached prior to the opening position of the opening 4.
Under normal operating conditions, that is, in the case of passengers with a valid travel title, each passenger validates the ticket through the validation apparatus 32, which, by means of a switchboard provided for this purpose, activates the motor means 12 that carry the internal body 9, and therefore the blocking body 2, to perform a rotation of 90 ° in the direction of passage of the opening 4.
When the passage has occurred, the electronic control unit itself controls the motor means 12 for the return of the blocking body 2 to the initial closing position, by means of the use of known devices, such as timers or photocells.
In the hypothesis that the opening 4 is forced, that is to say in a condition in which a force less than 50 Newton is applied to the blocking body 2, the motor means 12 is forcedly rotated causing the encoder or the like to register its movement.
When the force stops, the control unit controls the return of the blocking body 2 to the initial closing position.
In emergency conditions, that is to say in the hypothesis that a person hits the blocking body 2 with a force greater than or equal to 200 Newton, or because of the pressing of an emergency button provided for that purpose, placed in the vicinity of the opening and / or in the cab of the driver's post of the public transport means, or because of an unexpected deceleration of the transport means 100, because of, for example, a road incident, or any other condition that may be considered emergency, the switchboard cuts the current to the electromagnet 26 immediately dropping the locking body 2 and instantly releasing the opening 4.
Once the emergency is over, by means of a remote electrical control, located in the driver's position, or by means of a remote control, provided to authorized personnel, the system is restored for normal operation of the barrier 1.
In practice it has been found that the controlled access barrier, in particular for public transport, public establishments and the like, according to the invention, fully complies with the objective and with the previously established objects, in the sense that it allows managing a controlled access opening avoiding becoming an obstacle to the passage in any situation that is created, whether it is an emergency or a forced opening.
Another advantage of the controlled access barrier, according to the invention, is the fact that it is extremely flexible and versatile, as well as being able to be applied to any type of opening, both in public transport means and in public establishments.
The controlled access barrier, in particular for public transport, public establishments and the like, conceived, is susceptible to numerous modifications and variants, all of which fall within the scope of the appended claims.
In addition, all the details may be replaced by other technically equivalent elements.
In practice, the materials used, as well as the dimensions and contingent forms, may be any depending on the requirements and the state of the art.
